CoreDrive for Educators

Your staff can't reach students if they can't reach each other.

You've invested in professional development. Your teams still struggle to collaborate. PLC meetings feel like compliance, not connection. CoreDrive for Educators shows you what's actually driving your team, so you can build the staff culture your students need.

The Real Problem

Most PD doesn't touch what's actually holding your teams back.

Your staff sat through the teambuilding workshop. They did the personality quiz. Nothing changed. Because those tools tell you how people behave, not why. When your PLCs are stuck in silos, when your strongest teachers are burning out, and when new staff can't find their footing, the problem isn't effort. It's that no one's had the data to understand what actually motivates the people in the room.

How It Works

From assessment to activation. Under two hours.

Three steps. One PD day. A team that finally understands what drives each other.

Assessment

Assess

Each educator completes the CoreDrive assessment online, a 10–15 minute motivational science assessment that identifies their core drivers across 17 research-based archetypes. Not a personality test. A map of what actually motivates each person on your team.

Insight

Reveal

Individual Drive Archetype profiles are delivered to each educator's inbox immediately. Then our team builds a Team Motivation Report, mapping synergies, identifying friction points, and surfacing collaboration patterns across your entire staff.

Team DynamiX™

Activate

Your staff comes together for a live, facilitated session where they unpack their motivational profiles as a team. They identify where they align, where they differ, and how to use those differences to strengthen PLCs, build psychological safety, and improve how they work together, starting that day.

Team DynamiX

The live session that turns profiles into practice.

Team DynamiX is the facilitated PD experience that activates your team's CoreDrive results. In under two hours, your staff moves from individual insight to team strategy, mapping motivational synergies, surfacing caution zones, and leaving with a concrete plan to improve how they collaborate. Delivered by educators who've led these conversations in California schools.

  • Understand how each team member's motivational identity shapes their teaching and collaboration
  • Identify where team strengths align and where motivational differences cause friction
  • Leave with practical strategies to improve PLC effectiveness immediately

CoreDrive for Educators was piloted with 42 staff members, including teachers, support staff, and administration, at Ortega High School, a 2026 California Model Continuation High School in Lake Elsinore USD. The same school where CoreDrive for Students is already in use with 325+ students. Built by a research team of California K–12 professionals, including administrators, educators, and a school psychologist.

Working with students begins with us.

We are the last roadblock these kids encounter before stepping into the real world. We have a real opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on their lives. If teachers are given access to motivational results along with the proper tools, this could significantly improve how we motivate students.

FAQ

Questions principals ask us.

Straight answers.

How long does the whole process take?

+

The assessment takes 10–15 minutes per person online. Team DynamiX — the live facilitated session — runs under two hours. Most schools complete both in a single PD day.

Who should take the assessment?

+

Everyone who's part of the team. Teachers, counselors, support staff, administration. CoreDrive works best when the full team participates — that's how you surface the dynamics that are actually shaping collaboration at your site.

How is this different from a personality test?

+

Personality tests tell you how people behave. CoreDrive tells you why. It measures intrinsic motivational drivers, the things that make people act, decide, and engage, across 17 research-based archetypes. That's a fundamentally different kind of insight, and it leads to fundamentally different conversations. Think of it as professional learning grounded in research on what actually drives people, designed to improve how your team collaborates, communicates, and supports students.

What do we actually get from the results?

+

Each educator receives an individual Drive Archetype profile. Your leadership team receives a Team Motivation Report showing synergies, uniqueness, and caution zones across your staff. Plus matched strategies for improving collaboration: not a dashboard to monitor, but actions to take.

Can we do this without the live session?

+

The assessment and Team DynamiX session are delivered together. The assessment gives you the data. The live session is where your team actually does something with it. One without the other leaves insight on the table.

Does this help with student outcomes too?

+

Yes. When your staff understands their own motivational drivers, and each other's, they collaborate better, communicate better, and bring that clarity into their work with students. Schools that pair CoreDrive for Educators with CoreDrive for Students create a shared motivational language across the entire campus.

How do we fund this?

+

CoreDrive for Educators may be fundable through LCAP, Title I-A, Title II-A, or Title IV-A — we've seen schools use each of these depending on how the program is positioned in their plan. Funding alignment depends on your district's specific priorities. We can walk you through the options on a strategy call.
